07-26-09 WakeSurfSkate.com launched in May 2008 as an action sports social network dedicated to water sports!! We started filming events and produced our first DVD of the 2008 INT US National Championships, In the midst of our production the economy tanked and we still delivered our first DVD with out sponsors! Our partner in the DVD project completely failed to deliver across the board put unreal time lines on us and completely failed to promote the DVD about their company and competition. Not only did this effect our ability to expand the network but we were un-able to launch our winter clothing line and girls clothing line. After all that a group of hackers figured out how to use the social networking software for phishing attacks..thus destroying nine months work. We were forced to shut down the site.
The good news is we are back on track, reporting and Filming Wake, Surf, and Skate events!! We're changing over to a new format as an action sports photography and News Blog. Our new goal is to start offering Prints, DVD's, from contests, events and develop more DVD projects!!..We are just finishing the 2009 Hurley US Open Surfing contest photos and prepping for 2009 X Games. We're working closely with PowerbandFilms.com and their Daredevil Feature film project that's currently in production!! We are now shooting freestyle motocross, snowboarding, skate, surf and other action sports!! We have a lot in the works for 2010!!
